Museum Speelklok receives a generous contribution from the VriendenLoterij

Thanks to this contribution, we can present new activities in the coming period that showcase our unique collection of historical music machines to visitors of all ages. These include the joyful summer exhibition Kermis! and sing-along evenings in the autumn. A huge thank you to all VriendenLoterij players, especially those who support Museum Speelklok specifically.

The photo was taken in front of the artwork Verwarrend Verlangen by Jelle Mastenbroek, which he created especially for Museum Speelklok, inspired by the museum’s collection. The artwork is still on display and was a highlight of the 2024 exhibition Make it Work.

Thanks to its participants, the VriendenLoterij is able to donate a total of €152 million in 2024 to support culture, welfare, and sports in the Netherlands.
