Museum Speelklok receives additional contribution from VriendenLoterij
Very good news for our museum! From this year on, Museum Speelklok will structurally receive an additional amount of 50,000 euros from the VriendenLoterij for programming and exhibitions.
With this amount, the Dutch lottery the VriendenLoterij wants to guarantee the quality of programming and exhibitions in times of rising costs. The museum will receive a total of 325,802 euros from the VriendenLoterij. This includes an amount of 75,802 euros from VriendenLoterij participants who specifically indicate that they want to play for the Museum Speelklok.
The entire Museum Speelklok team is extremely happy with this extra contribution. Partly thanks to the participants in the Friends Lottery, our special, latest project around international inventors of music machines is getting a major extra boost.
Jonne Arnoldussen, managing director of the FriendsLoterij: “It is fantastic that we can give this extra boost to Dutch museums this year, so that museums can focus on substantive programming, even in times of rising costs. By 2023, we will donate more than 100 million euros to culture in the Netherlands. Together with our partners, we are committed to our national heritage. This way we keep art and culture optimally accessible to everyone.”
