From 17.00 to 20.00, we are hosting a sensory-friendly museum evening in collaboration with the Dutch Autism Association (NVA).

Programme

Our museum guides will showcase musical demonstrations of music boxes, automata, and organs. There will be a quiet educational space where you can play musical games. You can also enjoy an audio play and take on the treasure hunt. In the Music Factory, you can create your own melody using a “pling-plong” device. For an extra thrill, you can play the exciting Escape Game with your whole family!

The museum café will be open all evening, offering drinks, coffee, tea, fries, and vegetarian croquettes.

Sensory-friendly

We will notify visitors in advance before the instruments are activated and the music starts playing. While the sound can sometimes be (too) loud, earplugs will be available. If you prefer your own hearing protection, we recommend bringing it with you. A quiet room will also be available. This evening, we will use time slots, with a maximum of 30 people admitted per hour. After that you can stay as long as you want.
