Donations & bequests
The museum has donations from individuals and businesses to thank for a significant part of its collection.
With your support, the musical collection can be preserved for the future. If you’re based in the Netherlands, your donation can also provide tax benefits and can be either one-off donations or annuities.
The Stichting Vrienden van Museum Speelklok has ANBI status and is exempt from gift and inheritance tax in the Netherlands. So 100% of your gift will benefit the museum!Â
Each contribution is highly valued. It is also possible to make a one-off donation by remitting it directly to: NL17 RABO 0350 0323 00 in the name of Stichting Vrienden van Museum Speelklok quoting ‘one-off donation’.Â

Bequests
A special type of gift is a gift made through an estate. For instance in 2006, the Stichting Vrienden received an entire mansion through an inheritance that currently houses the Restoration Studio. But also many smaller bequests over the past 60 years have made it possible for the museum to now exhibit the world’s most important collection of mechanical musical instruments. The appraised value of the object is applied to the tax deduction. The calculation method for objects is the same as for financial gifts.
